New GM for Ramsbury

Ramsbury Brewing & Distilling Company has announced the appointment of Nikolas Fordham, as general manager.

Nikolas will oversee the operations of the Ramsbury Brewing & Distilling Company, which produces award-winning Ramsbury Single Estate Gin and Vodka. Single Estate means that the complete process from field to bottle takes place on the Ramsbury Estate in the Wiltshire countryside.

Nikolas joins Ramsbury with over a decade’s worth of industry experience, following his first position as Distillery Manager at Chivas Brothers Limited back in 2008. Before joining Ramsbury, he was Head of Operations of Tarquin’s Gin since 2017, where he was instrumental to its growth and success as a business, from NPD to site wide operations. Prior to that, he was Master Distiller and Head of Operations at The Bombay Spirits Company, where he delivered Laverstoke Mill the state-of-the-art Gin Distillery to a World Class Distillery between 2013 – 2016.

Nikolas Fordham, as General Manager of Ramsbury Brewing & Distilling Company, said: “I’m thrilled to be appointed to General Manager of RamsburyBrewing & Distilling Company. Operating a true grain to glass approach, every element is harvested from the Ramsbury Estate, from planting and growing the trees that fuel our biomass boiler to harvesting the Horatio and Spotlight wheat, all on a single field. I feel excited to join the family and look forward to the adventure ahead, as we take the sustainable brand from strength to strength, heroing our Single Estate approach whilst sowing, growing and distilling new and exciting products our customers will love.”

Alistair Ewing, Group Manager of Ramsbury Brewing & Distilling Company, said: “We are delighted to welcome Nikolas into the fold at Ramsbury. He joins with a wealth of industry knowledge and experience at leading brands where he was instrumental to their growth and success. We have big ambitions at Ramsbury Brewing & Distilling Company and know he will help propel us to new heights as we continue to build our operations in the UK ahead of some very exciting plans later this year.”
