Woodford Reserve is marking its 30th anniversary with the launch of two limited-edition releases for whiskey enthusiasts.
The first of the new releases is Distillery Series, which is a Triple Pot Still features 100% whiskey distilled at Woodford Reserve through three copper pot stills. Woodford Reserve was unique when it launched since it used pot stills, rather than column stills, to distill most whiskey.
This showcases the “traditional, robust flavour profile” that defines the historic distillery site.
The company is also launching a limited-edition personal selection and ceramic decanter created exclusively by Louisville Stoneware Offered with a personal selection of Double Oaked Single Barrel, selected by Master Distiller Elizabeth McCall.
“From the beginning of the brand, Woodford Reserve has enticed consumers by our unique bottle design and our flavourful liquid, featuring more than 200 flavour notes,” Master Distiller Elizabeth McCall said.
“It’s now the top-selling super-premium American whiskey in the world and continues to grow, both in the United States and globally.”
Since its introduction in October 1996, Woodford Reserve has helped transform the global whiskey landscape. By balancing time-honored traditional methods with modern innovation, the brand helped elevate bourbon into the luxury spirit category.
