Polish vodka, Żubrówka Biala, is now the UK’s 2nd biggest imported vodka, according to Nielsen data.
Distributed by Paragon Brands in the UK, Żubrówka is the third-largest vodka brand in the world and has experienced major growth in the UK market during 2023-24.
According to the figures released this week, the world-famous vodka reported an increased sale value of 92.4% for 200ml bottles, and 39.4% for one-litre bottles, second only to Absolut.
What’s more, the figures show that Żubrówka Biala generates twice as much revenue per store compared to competitor Glen’s and 3.5 times as much as JJ Vodka.
With a rich heritage spanning over 500 years, Żubrówka Vodka is one of the most renowned and best-selling Polish brands across the world, the company said.
The portfolio of premium quality vodkas includes the original Żubrówka Biala, signature Polish Bison Grass, and flavoured varieties Vanilla and Rose.
Chris Jones, managing director at Paragon Brands, said: “We’re thrilled to announce that Żubrówka Biala is officially the second biggest imported vodka in the UK.
“In such a competitive market this is a massive achievement, and we’re very proud that the product has received this recognition. There is clearly a market for high-quality, unique spirits and Żubrówka is very much resonating with UK shoppers. We look forward to continuing our mission to make Żubrówka the number-one Vodka in the UK.”
