Former world’s favourite airline now serving American gin

British Airways has announced its new brand partner and addition to its in-flight menu; American style Aviation Gin.

“I’ve tried every gin on the planet and Aviation is, hands down, the best. Also, I don’t recommend trying every gin on the planet. Stick with this one,” says actor Ryan Reynolds, co-owner, Aviation American Gin.

Reynolds invested in Aviation in 2018, an Oregon-made gin acquired by Diageo last summer. The liquid will be available to order pre-flight through BA’s Speedbird Café. The café allows passengers to order food and drinks before take-off.

Tom Stevens, BA director of brand and customer experience, said: “Offering our customers a premium experience throughout their journey is important to us. Partnering with Aviation American Gin is another great addition to our onboard service.”

“Like the world’s finest gins, Aviation is distilled using a proprietary maceration recipe that produces a pure medley of botanical flavour. So smooth and delicious, it can fly solo, or take any mixed drink to new heights,” says BA.

Aviation Gin is available in all US and UK lounges, on all long haul and short haul flights and for in-flight duty-free purchase.
